Returns and Refund policy

1. General Provisions

This Complaints Policy governs the procedure and conditions for complaints regarding products purchased through the online store obscureclothing.com operated by:

By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read and agreed to this Complaints Policy.

2. Liability for Defects

The seller is responsible for defects that the product has upon delivery or that occur during the statutory warranty period.

The customer is required to inspect the product upon receipt and report any defects or damage without undue delay.

3. Warranty Period

Products are covered by the statutory warranty period in accordance with applicable laws of the Slovak Republic and the European Union.

The warranty period begins on the date the customer receives the product.

4. Filing a Complaint

Complaints may be submitted via e-mail to:

The customer should provide:

  • order number
  • description of the defect
  • photos of the defect or damage, if possible

The seller may request that the customer send the product for inspection.

5. Complaint Resolution

After evaluating the complaint, the seller may resolve the complaint by:

  • repairing the product
  • replacing the product
  • providing a reasonable discount
  • refunding the purchase price

The resolution method depends on the nature of the defect and applicable legal regulations.

6. Complaint Resolution Time

The seller will resolve complaints within the legally required time period according to applicable laws.

The customer will be informed of the outcome via e-mail.

7. Complaints Will Not Be Accepted In Cases Of

Complaints may not be accepted in cases involving:

  • normal wear and tear
  • mechanical damage caused by the customer
  • improper use of the product
  • improper washing or maintenance
  • damage caused by chemicals or inappropriate handling
  • damage caused by use contrary to care instructions

8. Recommended Product Care

To preserve print and material quality, we recommend:

  • washing garments inside out
  • using lower washing temperatures
  • avoiding aggressive chemicals or bleach
  • avoiding high-temperature drying
  • ironing away from printed areas

Failure to follow recommended care instructions may reduce product lifespan.

9. Final Provisions

The seller reserves the right to modify this Complaints Policy at any time.

This policy becomes effective upon publication on the website.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Information on the Consumer’s Right to Withdraw from the Contract

Customers who qualify as consumers under applicable laws have the right to withdraw from a distance contract without providing any reason within 14 days from the date of receiving the goods.

The right to withdraw from the contract may be exercised by contacting:

Withdrawal Period

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, receives the goods.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of Withdrawal

If the customer withdraws from the contract, all payments received from the customer, including delivery costs, will be refunded, except for additional costs resulting from the customer choosing a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option offered by the seller.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.

The seller may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or proof of return shipment has been provided.

Returning Goods

The customer must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date of notifying the seller about the withdrawal.

The deadline is met if the goods are sent before the 14-day period expires.

The customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods unless stated otherwise.

Condition of Returned Goods

Returned goods should be:

  • unused
  • undamaged
  • clean
  • returned in the original packaging where reasonably possible

The customer is responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the product.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may not apply to products:

  • made according to the customer’s individual requirements
  • customized or personalized products
  • products unsuitable for return due to hygiene reasons after opening, where applicable
